The Amazing Power of Honey and Cinnamon

There is a lot of evidence that raw, unpasteurized honey and ground cinnamon have many health benefits, and we already knew they both taste delicious. Honey aids digestion, has anti-cancer properties, and can heal canker sores. Eating honey gives you a healthy energy boost, can relieve morning sickness, and so much more! Cinnamon can reduce blood sugar and cholesterol. Research suggests that it also can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and certain types of cancers. Just the smell alone can help your brain be more alert!


Here is an easy way to use both!

Core and slice apples thinly. Coat with as much honey and cinnamon as you want. Spread out on a dehydrator sheet. Take them out after a couple of hours for a soft, warm apple treat. OR dehydrate for 12+ hours for chewy cinnamon apples. Either way you have a deliciously raw snack!
